Lavandula angustifolia (common name: Lavender) is a genus of 39 species of flowering plants in
the mint family, Lamiaceae. Lavender oil, which has long been used in the production of perfume,
can also be used in aromatherapy. The scent has a calming effect which may aid in relaxation and the
reduction of anxiety and stress. Lavender has both antiseptic and anti-fungal properties.
Zingiber officinale (common name: Ginger) is an essential oil extracted from the roots of the
plant. In aromatherapy it is believed to relieve stiffness in joints, muscular cramps and aches. It also
aids in easing anxiety, renewing vitality and self-confidence.

Use:
