| CURCUMIN TEA. (infusion CURCUMA XANTHORRIZA) from AMAZON HERBS® |

Part used: rhizome. Only wild harvested - or organically grown plants, naturally derived alcohol (USP) and spring water are used. Used for: Kidney disease, high cholesterol, hypertension, appetite loss, gallbladder problems, malaria, Alzheimer's disease, prevention and treatment of cancer, potentiate the effect of chemotheraphy, ulcers, liver disease, jaundice, injuries, arthritis, bursitis, prostatits, cystic fibrosis. Constituents: curcuminoids (curcumin, dicinnamoyl - methane,bis - demethoxy - curcumin, demethoxy curcumin). Essential oils (camphor, isofurano - germacrese, cineo, borneol, etc). Cinnamaldehyde. Starch / carbohydrate (30% - 40%). Dosage: 1 - 1½ ml (30 - 45 drops) each time, 3 times a day. Shelf life: two (2) years after date of manufacturing. Store in a dark place at room temperature. Side effects and / or interactions: Patients with gallstones, bile duct obstruction, stomach ulcers and hyperacidity disorders should retrain from taking this herbal supplement. As a precautionary measure, curcumin should not be used during pregnancy unless under supervision of a physcian. Anticoagulants / antiplatelet: curcumin may increase risk of bleeding. Overview: | Traditionally, the rhizomes of Curcuma longa and Xanthorriza have been used as a remedy for liver problems and indigestion. They have also been used against internal parasites. Curcumin has been proven to exhibit anticarcinogenic, anti - inflammatory and antioxidant properties. In addition, it lowers LDL cholesterol and is able to cure hepatitis. When used for the cancer fighting capabilities, it shows a remarkable effect in intervening with initiation and growth of cancer cells and tumors. It inhibitis the progession of chemically induced colon and skin cancers. Curcumin has been shown to enchance the effectiveness of certain, anti cancer drugs and also improve the effectiveness of radiation treatment. The tumor cells are prevented from developing the so called radiation resistance. Taking curcumin and / or curcumin tincture during pregnancy should only be done under oncologist's supervision. |
